Synopsis:In 1957, when the Gold Coast became Ghana, the Conventional People's Party (CCP) commenced the first experiment in African socialism under the leadership of Kwane Nkrumah.The CCP became an inspiration for other liberation movements in Africa, but the party was overthrown and banned in 1966 by a military coup.This drama-documentary focuses on the lives of former activists.The political uncertainties left them with the choices of silence or imprisonment and leaving or staying.
