Synopsis: | "The Equalizer", made for the BBC's "Hidden Empire" Series, focuses on Udham Singh, who witnessed the Amritsar massacre in 1919 and vowed to avenge his people. It takes until 1940 when in London he shoots Sir Michael O'Dwyer who was Lt. Governor of the Punjab at the time of the massacre. Udham Singh was subsequently tried and hanged. | |
