Synopsis: | This film is a tribute to black British actor Norman Beaton, presented by Darcus Howe. The career of Beaton in British theatre and television served and still serves as a model for many young black British actors to follow. Beaton has been one of the first black leading actors in Britain. He is still known for the central characters he played in the situation comedies "Foster's" and "Desmond's" as well as for his roles in a wide range of theatre plays and black film classics such as "Playing Away". | |
