Keilschriftbibliographie - Einträge
Band 45
Again we thank those who kindly helped in supplying information about publications, particularly J. A. Brinkman (Chicago), A. M. Dinçol (Istanbul), B. R. Foster (Yale), G. G. Giorgadze (Tbilissi), L. Golovleva (Erevan) , A. Kammenhuber (Munich), G. Komoróczy (Budapest), W. R. Mayer (Rome), M. Popko (Warsaw), G. Saporetti (Rome), J. Strybol (Brussels), R. Van Laere (Hasselt-Kermt, Belgium), and M. Yoshikawa (Hiroshima).
At the time of the present writing, KeiBi 44 has been in circulation only for some weeks. The few responses we have received regarding the reorganization of the bibliography - see Or 52 (1983) 1* - have preferred an ordering by subject, with alphabetic index, to an ordering by alphabet, with subject index. This preference of colleagues, if it continues to be general, will certainly persuade us to return to a subject-ordered listing; in the present issue however, and probably in 46, the exigencies of time and of previous commitments lead us to continue alphabetic listing, at least for the present.
In KeiBi 45 there is a single alphabetic listing, including both books and articles. Newly published books are signalized by putting the name of the author(s) in dark type; names of the authors of newly published articles are given in spaced type, as in the past. Festschriften and necrologies are listed under the name of the recipients and the deceased. (For further details of presentation, see Or 52, 1*; on the supplementary index see below p. 95*.)
